Předzima 🍂 Before winter

Předzima (before winter) is a Czech word which describes the period from November 11 to December 25. 

It's a time of rain, mists, mud, first frost, and first snow.

The air is full of water and it carries the scent of decomposing leaves, wet earth, moss, and mushrooms.
